Yonex Super Grap

Yonex Super Grap is one of two of the most popular tacky overgrips on the professional tour. The other being Wilson Pro Overgrip. I'm excited about this one!

I liked...

• the feel of this tacky grip. Some tacky grips tend to feel wet out of the packaging, but not this one. It feels really good indoors and in mild-medium outdoor temperatures where your hands aren't sweating profusely.

• the durability of the grip. It lasts quite a long time without starting to tear and break apart. It is nice getting the white grips since they get dirty before they lose tack so you can see when they need to be changed.

I disliked...

• not much in this grip. If I had to complain in really hot humid climates for some it can get a little slippery, but even then absorption is pretty good considering it's a tacky grip.

What player should use this?

A player who has sweaty hands, but still likes the tacky feel. It is one of the best grips for indoor and mild-medium outdoor condition play.

Similar Grips

• Wilson Pro Overgrip - It is very close to Yonex Super Grap. I did no study on this, I would almost say the Yonex grip is slightly more durable.

Last Remarks

It is a great grip and the only reason it is not a perfect 10 is that if you sweat profusely you may prefer a dry grip or changing this frequently. The durability is very good.
